1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to TAMS VIP. By accessing or using our services, including our mobile application and VIP card, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TAMS VIP (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa.

2. Services Description

TAMS VIP provides a cashless payment system for taxi transportation services across Africa. Our services include:

• Contactless payment card for taxi fares
• Mobile application for account management
• Loyalty rewards program
• Priority boarding services
• Transaction history and reporting
• Customer support services

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

To use TAMS VIP services, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Verification

We reserve the right to verify your identity and may request additional documentation as part of our Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.

4. Card Usage

4.1 Card Ownership

The TAMS VIP card remains the property of TAMS VIP at all times. You are granted a license to use the card for its intended purpose.

4.2 Loading Funds

You may load funds onto your card through approved channels including bank transfers, mobile money, and designated agents. Minimum and maximum loading limits apply.

4.3 Card Protection

You must take reasonable steps to protect your card from loss, theft, or damage. Report lost or stolen cards immediately through our mobile app or customer service.

4.4 Prohibited Uses

You may not use the card for any illegal activities, fraudulent purposes, or in any manner that violates these Terms.

5. Fees and Charges

5.1 Card Issuance

The initial card issuance is free. Replacement cards may incur a fee as specified on our website or mobile application.

5.2 Transaction Fees

Standard taxi fare transactions are free. Other transaction types may incur fees as disclosed at the time of transaction.

5.3 Inactivity Fees

Accounts inactive for more than 12 months may be subject to an inactivity fee. We will notify you before applying such fees.

5.4 Fee Changes

We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with 30 days' notice to cardholders.

6. Rewards Program

6.1 Earning Rewards

Earn loyalty points on qualifying transactions. Points accumulation rates and qualifying transactions are subject to program terms.

6.2 Redeeming Rewards

Points may be redeemed for ride discounts, free rides, or other benefits as available in the rewards catalog. Points have no cash value.

6.3 Expiration

Rewards points expire 24 months from the date of earning if not used. We will notify you before points expire.

6.4 Program Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the rewards program at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Liability

7.1 Service Availability

While we strive to maintain continuous service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for service disruptions due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

7.2 Transaction Disputes

Report transaction disputes within 30 days. We will investigate and resolve disputes in accordance with our dispute resolution procedures.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TAMS VIP's liability is limited to the amount of funds held in your account. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7.4 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for the quality or safety of taxi services provided by third-party operators. TAMS VIP is a payment facilitator only.

8. Termination

8.1 Voluntary Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting customer service. Remaining balances will be refunded according to our refund policy.

8.2 Termination by TAMS VIP

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or as required by law.

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the card and services ceases immediately. Outstanding obligations survive termination.

9. Amendments

We may amend these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on our website or mobile application. Continued use of our services after amendments constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
